Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hi! We’re Kyle and Desiree — your hosts at Big Fun Stays TX. We’re proud parents of two young kids and passionate travelers who love creating memories with family and friends. Some of our best moments have come from adventures together, and we’ve hand-selected, designed, and cared for each of our properties to help you and your loved ones make those same lasting memories.

 

We’re local to Austin (where we live just minutes from our two city homes) and we spend lots of time vacationing at Canyon Lake. Because we don’t love the impersonal feel of big hotels or corporately managed rentals, our mission is to provide a personal, welcoming experience. We’re always available to our guests — as much or as little as you’d like — so you can enjoy your stay your way.

 

As a young family, we’ve designed our properties with both families and groups of friends in mind. Over the years, we’ve hosted hundreds of guests, and we’re constantly upgrading and improving our homes so each stay is even better than the last.

What are you check in and check out times?
Check in is 4 PM and check out is 11 AM.
Do you allow early check in?
We do our best to accommodate early check-ins whenever possible! Availability depends on whether the property is booked the night before and how much time our cleaning team needs to prepare for your stay. The best way to find out is to reach out a couple of days before your arrival, and we’ll let you know what options we can offer.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes, we offer on-site parking facilities, making it convenient and hassle-free for you to park your vehicle and have peace of mind throughout your vacation. No need to worry about finding a parking spot!
What amenities are provided in the rental?
Our rental properties are equipped with a wide range of amenities to enhance your stay. You can expect amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and in-unit laundry facilities. Location was great -many fun, interesting, and useful things close by. Several beds and different configurations. The back yard was awesome!! Little ones and adults loved it, dunking pool, fire pit, lounge chairs and dining table were wonderful. Plenty of space and beds for our large extended family to relax alone yet have time together. All the games etc were fun for all ages. Thank you, Kyle, you were wonderful!!

Kyle was fantastic as a host and person. He was responsive and fixed or accommodated anything i needed and was always available to text for information. the view was gorgeous, the jacuzzi and lakes were fantastic. the house was pristine with lots to do and lots of verticle space and leads right to the lake. do yourself a favor and hit Kyle up for an unforgettable stay.

The backyard is the perfect oasis for any trip! We loved spending time in the backyard and soaking it all up. The house was perfect for a large group and had plenty of space. The location is amazing and close to most things you would need. Everything is 5-15 minutes from you. Kyle was amazing and worked with us on an earlier check in time. We 1000% would book this again and will come back as we come to austin a few times a year

We ran away for the weekend with our grown sons. More than enough room. Everything was nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool, patio and kayaks. And it was only 15 to 30 minutes to the activities we were there to do. We will be back!!
